Q: What sparked you to become a realtor?
Karly: I love people, and I love that I can pull in so many of my skills and life experience into real estate. I spent a year investigating the [real estate] industry. I read. I interviewed agents. I spoke with people who know me well, and I confidently chose being a realtor as my new profession. I’ve been able to draw on the skills I learned from the Marriott School of Management. I can incorporate my favorite hobby, photography. I’m able to help clients organize their homes and stage them to sell. I’m able to form life-long relationships with my clients because I care about my people
Q: What excites you about showing a house?
K: Buying or selling a home can be a delicate and emotional experience. For most Americans, their home is their greatest financial asset. I get excited before the house, when I know I’m helping to make the dream of home-ownership a reality for someone. I am honored to work with my clients to help them navigate the sometimes rocky or scary waters of relocating and purchasing or selling a home.
Q: What are some of your favorite things about living in SLC, Utah?
K: I recently returned from a vacation to Southern California. After battling an overcrowded, mismanaged, competitive environment, I was once again reminded of the all the things I love about our big, little city. Life truly is elevated here, one is not just surviving, rather thriving. Utah is one of the country’s fastest growing cities, No. 5, according to Forbes. We have a strong employment rate (2nd best in the nation), diverse western economy, and even a new light rail system luring both housing and jobs along its corridor.
Karly is currently showing listings in the Salt Lake area. For a meeting with Karly regarding the sale of your home or the purchase of a new one, call or message:
